SurveyMonkey does not currently support custom HTML, therefore it is not currently possible to embed the Phonic widget inside of a SurveyMonkey survey. This document details a workaround to link from a SurveyMonkey survey to Phonic.
As SurveyMonkey doesn't support custom HTML, the only way to integrate Phonic and SurveyMonkey is through hyperlinks and a manually entered ID - we recommend an email address or other unique identifier.
- Create a Phonic survey with the audio/video questions. Either collect email in Survey Settings > Personal Information, or include a text question type and prompt the respondent for their email or other ID.
We also recommend prompting users at the end of the Phonic survey to return to the SurveyMonkey survey to finish the study. - Link to the Phonic survey from SurveyMonkey using a hyperlink.
- Download the survey results from both platforms as CSV and join the datasets on the identifier column.
