Responses transcribed in a specific language can be easily translated to English. This is particularly useful for multilingual studies, where a survey is deployed in several languages and then translated into a base language for analysis.
Accessing English Translations in the Dashboard
Transcriptions will appear in Question view and Respondent view immediately after the response is collected. These transcriptions will be in the language or dialect that the survey was set in at the time the response was collected. This language is likely the survey default or language specified by the ?lang query parameter.
You can access English translations of your responses in Question view by clicking "Filters" and selecting "Show English Translations" under Display Options.
Exporting English Translations
English translations of responses are automatically included in your .csv data export. For multilingual surveys, the .csv export will contain the original response transcription and the English translation.
