Where Does Phonic Store Data?

Data Residency

At Phonic we take data privacy seriously. All data is encrypted at rest and stored securely on data centers located in the continental United States.

Data Handling

Survey data is never accessed by anyone inside of our organization without prior approval of the survey creator. Survey data is also never shared with anyone outside of our organization, except in the case of Transcription. AWS Transcribe may be used in our transcription pipeline, however we have explicitly opted out of any data retention on the part of AWS. The Amazon Transcribe privacy policy can be accessed here.
